No, No, No!
But what do you think? Cast your vote now!
As a child, teenager and young adult of the 80s I remember all too well the Thatcher Government and its total disregard for northern towns like Warrington.
I have nothing but utter contempt for her and the government she led, and that's being kind for fear of using abusive language online.
Industry decimated, communities destroyed, unemployment, recession, inflation, Poll Tax = Thatcher.
Not to mention the destruction of the NHS and the squandering of North Sea Oil revenues to pay the 3 million unemployed.
I think you get where I am coming from!

She could have one tomorrow for me. Not dead? No problem!
Whilst there are many who would agrre with Cllr Kenny's critique of the Thatcher years, there are many....maybe a majority who would not. It should be remembered that she did in fact win 3 General Elections.
Of course we can only summise what would have happened had there have been a continuation of the Callaghan Government. At the time I recall that Great Britain was regarded as the economic "basket case" of Europe.
Cllr. Kenny might like to consider the economic situation of the UK as it is now, under a Labour Government, rather than concerning himself with the funeral arrangements of a former Prime Minister.
