Plans to build a nursing home on land at the junction of Norris St and O'Leary St have been submitted to the council. Last year similar plans were withdrawn by the same developer after it became clear that planning officers were likely to recommend refusal.
The new application is still not acceptable and the access/egress from Venns Rd and the scale of the development are of real concern and will cause harm to residential amenity.
I will join with the local community in objecting to the application.
